Bio:

Markas is a handsome, tall and well-built man, the ideal picture of a nobleman for whom many maidens would fantasize. Amusingly, he also shares his ancestors’ tragic inability to use bows.

He differs from his father in almost every aspect, having his mother’s soft eyes and straight nose. While he acknowledges he may soon have to assume the position of Lord of Whitemane, he spends more time practicing as a warrior and a rider, hoping to one day make it as a hero to the people. He dreams of epic battles and victorious tournaments, and envisions a bountiful territory springing up form his father’s lands. He is kind and shows nothing but love for the commonfolk.

While he is heir to Lord Mercer Kestra, he is not the first child of the family; his elder brother, Viserys, died in the War of the Usurper after rebelling against their father’s wishes. Markas wishes to honor his brother’s death by being a boon to the Kingdoms.

Markas utterly hates his middle name, often telling either neglecting to inform people of it or giving it as Aemon.

It is suspected Markas sneaks out of Whitemane at times. Where he goes and what he does is presently not known to Mercer, but if it continues the Lord will have to put his foot down. Markas needs to begin learning the ways of battle. Whether he likes it or not, the Kestra heir is destined for command.
